The Mount Pleasant Group have been managing cemeteries in the Greater Toronto Area for over 200 years. The Thornton Visitation Centre project was a sizable addition and renovation to the existing facility in Oshawa. 217 sm of the existing facility was maintained and 2,295 sm was added to create and new and modern facility for visitations and cremations.

The project was designed by The Hicks Partnership Inc., Interior Design was by Hefele Makowka Design Associates Inc. and Construction Administration was completed by van Groll Associates Inc.
